How do we set a hot key for a function?

This FAQ applies to: 3.0, 3.1

We have a framework now for javascript-based keyboard shortcuts. If you suggest a good one that won't conflict with standard browser shortcuts the developers can add it.

These shortcuts already exist and have been tested in Windows, Firefox and Internet Explorer:

  • Alt-u to move focus to Check Out form
  • Alt-r to move focus to Check in Form (or to Check In link on main page)
  • Alt-q to move focus to Search form
