Koha Support Companies: How to Get Listed

So you want to be listed as an official Koha Support provider? Here's how! To get listed, you need to submit a listing request using the form provided. Your listing approval will be based on two factors: 1) compliance with community guidelines listed below and 2) demonstrating to the existing Koha community that your company is a 'team player'.

Step #1: Follow the Community Guidelines

The guidelines below are designed to ensure that the libraries, companies and contract developers who are active in the community and have contributed significantly to the betterment of the Koha software have those contributions respected.

Please follow these guidelines even if your company chooses not to be listed (or does not yet qualify to be listed) on the koha.org website.

Use of the Koha Brand: Dos and Don'ts

  • Please don't use the word "Koha" in your company name, DBA, or your domain name, although you're welcome to use it in a tag line and as part of your other statements (in product names, for example).  We have many companies worldwide actively involved in the Koha project, but none are 'the' official providers of support.
  • Please don't use the Koha logo as your company logo, although you are welcome to use it alongside your company logo for publicity materials. It is fine to display the Koha logo on your Koha installations, but please do not use the Koha logo (or favicon) as the main logo on a corporate website.

Step #2: Get Involved!

  • Join the Koha developers list to get the most up-to-date info on patches etc.
  • Introduce yourself on IRC.
  • Start sending us your news.

Step #3: Get Listed

To get a listing on the Koha Pay for Support page you must comply with the "Koha Community Support Guidelines" and you must "get involved!" as described above.

Complete this application to request a listing.

Note: being listed on the Koha support page is at the discretion of the Koha Approvals Team (approvals@koha.org).

We reserve the right to update this policy at a future time.
